Top Rockford Pool Installer Says They’re Swamped Through Summer

If you were planning on putting in a pool this summer, you might be getting one by the end of the season.

A family friend who wanted to install a pool for the upcoming summer was told that they're going to be waiting a while.

Matter of fact, the woman was informed that she was 300th in line at The Great Escape, and they wouldn't be able to get to it until July.

Just to be sure, I called to confirm. I was told there were 280 people in front of me and it wouldn't be until July before they got to it.

The Great Escape for all intents and purposes is the biggest and most popular pool installer in Rockford and it sounds like business is absolutely booming.

I get it too. Last summer when everyone was told to stay home, plenty of families thought, "It was time to put in a pool."

While more and more people will be venturing out this summer, the demand for pools won't subside.

Also, the log jam of pool requests from the summer of 2020 has leaked into 2021, putting every pool installer way behind.

So what does that mean for those of us hoping to get a pool or at the very least fix one in 2021? Well, get in line or find someone else. Just a guess though, every pool installer is probably swamped in Rockford.
