This Hidden Waterpark Is A Great Way to Escape the Crowds of Wisconsin Dells
Now that we're finally getting our first tastes of Spring, a lot of people are starting to daydream about their summer vacations.
If you're like me and have big vacation dreams with a nearly non-existent budget, it's time to think about what you want most from your vacation, and then find an affordable way to make it happen. For me, that means finding a place to go that's not too far from home, but still feels like you're getting away. The place also needs to be family-friendly with plenty of ways for my kids to be entertained.
Have You Heard About This Hidden Waterpark in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin?
As a parent with young kids, I know finding a cool waterpark is the key to any successful summer vacation, and I just came across one I know we have to check out this summer. It's called, Witter Park Aquatics Center, and it's located in Wisconsin Rapids, which is about an hour from the massive crowds in the Wisconsin Dells, (and it's likely way cheaper to spend a day there too!)
Wants water slides and a lazy river? Witter Park has it!
A place to swim laps? Check!
Witter Park Aquatics Center also features a tot pool, water zip line, basketball hoop, a diving board, and even a rock-climbing wall. The Witter Park grounds also feature a skate park, playground, splash pad, tennis court, and six pickleball courts.
