This Cat Survived Street Life and A Leg Injury, Now He Needs a Family
They say a cat has nine lives, and it sounds like today's Pet of the Week from Winnebago County Animal Services has already spent a few of them. Don't get me wrong, this cat still has loads of love to give to one special family, but his rough start at life breaks my heart a little bit.
Here's what Amber Pinnon, Volunteer & Adoption Program Coordinator for Winnebago County Animal Services, had to say about Butch, today's Pet of the Week;
Butch can't wait to curl up for a forever with you! Butch came into the shelter after he was found on the streets with a leg injury. Butch spent some time healing up in a foster home but is now ready to find his forever family! This 3-year-old loves to spend his time sunbathing in the afternoon sun, watching the rain fall and being your constant companion.
Butch may be street-wise and brave, but a comfy couch and a soft lap to lay on is really what he deserves in life. If you think Butch sounds like the perfect furry addition to your family, please stop by Winnebago County Animal Services today to meet him! Better yet, why don't you just go ahead and fill out an adoption application right now at wcasrock.org, and once it gets approved, you'll be ready to bring Butch home today for the low adoption fee of $40!
Maybe Butch isn't your guy? Here are some more feline friends available for adoption right now at Winnebago County Animal Services' Main Shelter and also at the PetSmart in Janesville branch...
