Illinois is filled to the brim with old fashioned sites and attractions . It really just depends on what you want to do. One of these places that's a blast from the past is Wild West Town in Union. Ever wonder what things were like back then?

Well after a short ride, you'll be transported back to the days of the Cowboy. Originally opening up in 1974 this one of a kind theme park has it all. You can go gold panning, try your luck at archery, check out some live action shows and even take a pony ride. But that's not all, there's also a roller coaster, train, canoes and even the old hand carts. For the Western history buff, there's also a Wild West Museum with some really cool artifacts.

it's a really cool place that won't charge you and arm and a leg to get in. General admission is about 17 bucks for adults and kids 2 and under are free.
