While the rest of the world goes nuts over KFC's Chicken & Donuts sandwich concoction, there's a donut shop in Chicago reminding us they're already doing it and apparently, doing it better.

I mean, that's at least how I read it when I saw this on Instagram just a few hours ago.

Do-Rite Donuts & Chicken does exactly what they say, chicken and donuts. The donuts look amazing, but it's the combo of fried chicken and glazed donuts that gets people talking.

Not everyone agrees with Do-Rite's fried chicken donut sandwich claims.

Instagrammer, shafin.lefin said, "Glazed donut sandwiches have been DONE for a long time now, stuffing a piece of fried chicken is not creating any new concept, this is already fair game once the donut sandwich came into existence."

Do-Rite responded with "agreed!! It happened organically for us, by customer demand. However...we do it with ❤️."

Do-Rite Donuts & Chicken can be found in five different areas in Chicago, Wrigleyville, Water Tower Place, the Loop, West Loop, Streeterville, and coming soon, the Willis Tower.
