Two Wisconsin Bakeries Just Made Yelp’s Top 50 List

These two joints are so agreeable and tasty that they just landed on Yelp's list of the most prestigious. I feel like I might need to take a donut road trip just to try them for myself. That's the thing. Up until today, I wasn't aware of these donut shops, but rest assured, now that they are on my radar, I'll be making plans to visit them at some point in the future.

Greenbush Bakery in Madison Ranked #24 in the Country

Yelp Elites ranked the Top 50 donut shops in the US, and this Madison bakery was ranked 24th overall.

Yelp calls Greenbush Bakery a "late-night favorite known for its kosher-certified doughnuts that are as rich in flavor as they are tradition." Greenbush Bakery leans into tradition, with UW-themed donuts on the menu. It looks like a Madison institution through and through.

Rated a 4.5 out of 5 on Yelp, Greenbush Bakery is located at 1402 Regent Street.

Cranky Al’s in Wauwatosa Ranked #47

Cranky Al's is the other donut shop among the 50 best in America in Wisconsin. Ranked #47 and called a "quirky, community-driven bakery where the doughnuts are made from scratch, and the vibe is always upbeat,"

Cranky Al's also gets mad love from Yelp, with a 4.5 out of 5 rating. It is located at 6901 West North Avenue in Wauwatosa.
