Sometimes cats get a bad rap for being aloof loners, but from the sound of it, today's Pet of the Week Judy is anything but that!

Judy is a beautiful 4-year-old Tabby currently waiting for a home at Winnebago County Animal Services, and shelter staff say she would do very well in a home with other pets!

Here's what Amber Pinnon, Adoption and Volunteer Program Coordinator at Winnebago County Animal Services had to say about Judy;

Meet Judy. This beautiful tabby cat is about 4 years old. She is currently looking to find her furrever home. Judy's ideal home should include lots of love, pets, and affection. Judy loves to snuggle on a lap and purr to show how happy she is to be there. Judy has shown to open up around another cat, and we think, with proper acclimation, she would do quite well with a feline sibling. Are you looking for a sweet, loving kitty? Come meet Judy and see if you're meant to be!

Judy is one of about 26 other cats currently waiting for their furever homes at Winnebago County Animal Services, and the adoption fee for any adult cat (1 year or older) is $40. See a list of other adoptable cats, or fill out an adoption application in advance at wcasrock.org.

One last thing, if adopting a new pet is not in the cards for you right now, but you still like to help animals in need, Winnebago County Animal Services needs bleach donations. Please consider picking up an extra bottle or two this weekend to donate...thank you.

PLEASE SHARE: We are currently in need of donations of bleach!

We go through tons of bleach keeping the shelter clean....
