Students With Special Needs Win Homecoming Crowns [WATCH]

Students at North Boone High School in Poplar Grove, Illinois recently crowned their very first Homecoming King and Queen with special needs, and this story is guaranteed to give you all the good feels. Watch and see for yourself.

The idea to nominate Rene Cruz and Allie Baker for homecoming court started with students involved in the PIT crew, which is a group that helps classmates with disabilities in the Life Skills Program. Their campaign was successful, and the students won by a landslide of votes.
