Sears is closing 80 more stores and two are in Illinois. One such location just so happens to be at the CherryVale Mall.

According to the Chicago Tribune, "Sears Holdings Corp. said it notified workers at the closing Sears and Kmarts, including Sears stores in Fairview Heights and Cherry Valley, on Thursday."

It looks like Sears at the mall will have a few more months before they permanently shutter, "The latest round of 80 more stores will close in March and liquidation sales are expected to begin in two weeks."

The Cherry Valley Sears location joins a long list of closed up Illinois Sears stores with locations in Quincy, Moline, and Norridge already set for closure.
