Forever 21 is just another brand in the long, slow death of mall stores that has officially announced it will close all of its stores.
Interestingly, this is the second time Forever 21 has filed for bankruptcy this time though it's for good.

NBC 5 in Chicago reports that Forever 21's reason for closure is "foreign competition from fast fashion rivals, rising costs, economic challenges, and evolving consumer trends."
These trends aren't new. It just seemed Forever 21 didn't know how or where to pivot.
