When I moved to Rockford, one of my goals is to bring positivity to the area. This is a great start and a great program spreading just that. WIth all the negativity that has been going on lately, I wanted to share an awesome story about a Rockton girl who decided that it was time to share some good news every other week at her school.

Sofia Korasick is a 5th grader at Whitman Post school in Rockton. When she was in the studio last month co-hosting with us, she mentioned she does a cool thing at school. Sofia talks to students and then on Thursday morning, she goes to the office and spreads "Great Gossip"

I recently had a chance to visit with Sofia and her principal Megan Forsythe to talk about the program and what effects it has had on the school.

I hope this can spread to other schools around the area. It is a great thing to start spreading positivity at an early age. It can go a long ways.
