Rockford's Largest Free Food Distribution Will Feed Thousands

City First Church and their partners have helped so many families put food on their tables. Their next drive thru event will surpass what's been done before.

City First Church, at 5950 Spring Creek Road in Rockford, has teamed up with the Northern Illinois Food Bank for another free drive thru food distribution, on Thursday, July 23rd.

The last time these two joined forces, over 100,000 pounds of food was given to families who are struggling to get through some of the toughest times our country has ever seen. That drive thru event in June provided for 1,600 families. The event on July 23 will be a distribution of over 250,000 pounds of groceries.

Just like past events, you will be able to drive up to the church's main entrance and boxes of food will be put in your car for you.

The drive thru food distribution begins at 10 a.m. and lasts until supplies are gone.
