Event Giving Out Free Groceries to Over 1,000 Rockford Families
So many unfortunate events in the last fifteen months have led to thousands of families struggling to find meals. This event is for families who need it most.
Trying to figure out where your family's next meal is coming from is a terrifying reality for too many residents in our community. There is a great need on the Rockford area, and throughout the pandemic, one partnership has helped fulfill that need.
Again, City First Church and the Northern Illinois Food Bank will be hosting another FREE FOOD DISTRIBUTION for families in need.
Free Groceries for Rockford Families
The food distribution is Thursday, June 17 at 10:00 a.m. at City First Church on Spring Creek Road. Cars can begin lining up at anytime that morning.
It is recommended that you get in line early. The free food will be distributed until it's gone.
City First Church and Northern Illinois Food Bank will be providing food for over 1000 families at this event.
If you are in need of food or know someone in need, please tell them about this opportunity.
For any additional information on the free food distribution, visit the church's Facebook event page.
