Rockford’s ‘Clear The Shelters’ Event Was A Massive Success
They say a picture speaks a thousand words, and I am loving every single word these pictures are saying.
This past Saturday Winnebago County Animal Services participated in the nationwide "Clear The Shelters" movement by waiving adoption fees on all of their adoptable animals that were six months or older.
This is the aftermath of Saturday's 4 hour "Clear The Shelters" event at Winnebago County Animal Services, and seeing it brings tears of joy to my eyes...
Not only do those empty cages mean many animals found their forever homes, but they also mean there is that much room to save more animals in need.
Winnebago County Animal Shelter's event wasn't a complete clear out, so that means there are still some loving cats and dogs waiting for their happily ever afters. Please consider making their dreams come true today. Thank you.
