Rockford Police Want To Treat Your Kids To A Movie
The Rockford Police Department knows that finding ways to keep the kids entertained when they are out of school can be a challenge, so they've decided to give parents a break with their "Movie Matinees".
Starting this Thursday, January 4, Rockford Police will be turning the community room at District 1 into a movie theater so families can enjoy a free movie and snacks during a day off of school.
If you are thinking of attending the first Movie Matinee this Thursday, you might want to plan on getting there a little before 1 p.m. if you want to get a good seat. I've seen a lot of people sharing this event on social media, so I'm guessing it will be a packed house!
