Joining Mayor McNamara will be Rockford Police Chief Carla Redd and Jennifer Cacciapaglia, Executive Director of the Mayor's Office of Domestic and Community Violence Prevention.
Together, city leaders plan to provide an overview of Rockford's multi-layered approach to reducing violent crime, improving prevention programs, and supporting neighborhoods most impacted by public safety challenges.
Officials are expected to discuss their current initiatives, progress made, and areas where community involvement plays a critical role.

Both town halls are open to the public, allowing residents to hear directly from the decision-makers and raise concerns about public safety in their neighborhoods.

Dates, Locations Announced for Town Halls
The first town hall is scheduled for Wednesday, January 21, at 5:30 pm at Rockford Country Club, 2500 Oxford Street. This meeting will also serve as the regular meeting of the Edgewater Neighborhood Association.
A second town hall will be held on Thursday, January 29, at 5:30 pm at Rockford University's Fisher Chapel, 5050 East State Street.
