
President Trump Makes Unannounced Trip to Honor Fallen Illinois Soldier
President Donald trump made an unscheduled trip to honor a Navy Seal, who was killed in Yemen.
Fox News reports that 36 year old Peoria, Illinois Chief Special Warfare Operator William "Ryan" Owens passed away in a weekend raid that took place in Yemen. The raid targeted an al-Qaida compound.
Owens is the first U.S. causality since Donald Trump took office on January 20th, and was a member of Seal Team Six. .
President Trump traveled, in secret, to Dover Air Base in Delaware.to receive Owens' remains. Owens leaves behind a wife and three children in Peoria.
