The White Sox game with the Baltimore Orioles' at Camden Yards has been postponed due to safety concerns.

ESPN is reporting that the Orioles announced the decision about a half-hour before the scheduled start Monday night against the Chicago White Sox.

Rioters have looted stores and thrown rocks and bricks at Baltimore police in the wake of the mysterious spinal injury of Freddie Gray, who died in police custody. Gray's funeral was Monday. The epicenter of the protests is less than a mile from the ballpark.

ESPN reports that about 1,000 fans were inside the stadium when the game was called off this evening, and many gates already had been closed.
