Illinois Police Need Help Finding This Man Suspected of Murder

The Rockford Police Department is asking for help identifying and locating this man who is suspected of murdering a 63-year-old woman at Pinnon Meats on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

Murder at Pinnon Meats in Rockford, Illinois

At around 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11 the Rockford Police Department responded to an armed robbery call with shots fired at Pinnon Meats on N Court Street. When they arrived at the scene they discovered a, who had been shot, lying at the bottom of the stairs that lead to an apartment above Pinnon Meats. The victim was rushed to the hospital where she passed away from her injuries a short time later.

Rockford Police released more information and pictures of the man they suspect committed the murder and are asking for the public's help with any information they may have in finding this man and/or solving the crime.

After Rockford Area Crime Stoppers shared the above post, many people commented that the two pictures differ from the ones being shared by other media outlets...

While those photos may look slightly different, many people believe the photos featuring the man in a gray hoodie and black mask were captured by surveillance cameras before the crime took place. The one without the hoodie was likely captured after the suspect removed some clothing and began to flee.
