New Hallmark Holiday Flick Headlined By Prominent Illinois Actress
It's just a few months to Christmas if you can believe that, and Hallmark is getting ready to count down to the big day.
That's because their Countdown to Christmas movie marathon is getting ready to kick off today.
As I was scrolling through the list I saw Hallmark movie stalwarts like Candace Cameron-Bure, Danica McKellar, and Lacey Chabert but there was one face I was pleasantly surprised to see.
It was former Destiny's Child member and Rockford, Illinois native, Michelle Williams.
Williams along with Ashleigh Murray, Luke James, Basil Wallace, and Loretta Devine are all set to star in Christmas in Harmony.
Harmony is tricked into auditioning for the Holiday Chorus - directed by an ex-boyfriend. By Christmas Eve they could be harmonizing in the key of love.
It couldn't be any more of a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie if it tried.
However, I couldn't be more glad to see Michelle Williams getting a shot in a movie.
This isn't the first time Williams has acted either. According to her IMDb, Williams played Diana Ross in an episode of American Soul that aired in 2019.
Christmas in Harmony premieres Friday, October 29 at 7 p.m. on the Hallmark Channel.
