‘Nashville’ Cast Adds U.S. Dates to 2016 Spring Tour

The cast of Nashville has added a string of U.S. tour dates to their spring tour. Select members of the ABC drama's cast will make more than a dozen stops throughout the United States in April and May.

Clare Bowen, Chris Carmack and Charles Esten will appear at all of the shows, with Will Chase, Jonathan Jackson and Aubrey Peeples performing in select cities.

“It is truly extraordinary how demand has grown over these past three years,” Steve Buchanan, president of Opry Entertainment, says in a press release. “We have added several new major markets this year so that we can reach as many of our dedicated Nashville fans as possible all across America. Audiences have been consistently blown away by the performing and songwriting talent of our cast.”

“It’s so great to see the cast have an opportunity to take their show on the road again,” says Russell Ziecker, executive vice president of TV music for Lionsgate. "The spirit and energy they bring to the stage is infectious. They’ve all become country music evangelists and ambassadors of Nashville, both the show and the city."

Following their U.S. stops, Bowen, Carmack, Esten and Sam Palladio will head overseas for a brief U.K. tour. It will be the first overseas trek for the Nashville cast.

Season 4 of Nashville resumes on Wednesday night (March 16) at 10AM ET. In January, ABC’s president, Paul Lee, confirmed that there are no plans to end the series anytime soon.

“If you consider the unique ingredients of our show, we will find new fans. More and more people will discover the show, be told about the show in years to come,” Nashville executive producer Steve Buchanan says. “There’s a long life cycle for a television property like Nashville.”
