Morgan Wallen has announced the first-ever headlining stadium gig of his career. The country singer is set to perform at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on Oct. 8, 2022.

Hardy, Mike Ryan and Jake Worthington are slated to open for Wallen at the gig. The show is an addition to Wallen's ongoing Dangerous Tour, which takes in 58 dates across the U.S. in 2022.

Globe Life Field is the home of the Texas Rangers, which makes the gig that much more exciting for the singer.

“I grew up playing baseball … spending more nights than I can count on fields in East Tennessee, it’s a special moment to be back on the field but doing my thing with my band,” Wallen states in a press release.

“I’m spending the year touring with one of my best friends, and I couldn’t complete the year without him on the bill,” Wallen adds, referring to Hardy, who took home Songwriter of the Year honors at the 2022 ACM Awards on March 7. “To finish the year with Hardy along with Mike and Jake, it’s going to be a special night.”

Wallen's Dangerous: The Double Album took home Album of the Year honors at the 2022 ACM Awards after scoring the biggest commercial success in country music in 2021. The album's success took place amid the backlash from Wallen being caught on camera using a racist slur in early 2021. The win marked the first time Wallen has taken the ACM Awards stage since he was disqualified and barred from appearing at the 2021 ACMs, and after the expected thanks to his team and fans, Wallen offered special thanks to "everyone who has shown me grace along the way."

Wallen's Dangerous Tour launched in February, and the stadium date in Arlington is currently the final show on Wallen's yearly calendar. According to a press release, Wallen has already moved 800,000 tickets in the first 13 shows of the tour.

"Fans have shown up in ways I never dreamt,” Wallen reflects. “Because of them, and because of the faith and support a lot of folks have had in me over the years, we’re gonna get to do this Texas.”

Tickets for Wallen's show at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, will go on March 25 at 10AM local time via his official website.
