Apparently we've reached the point in the COVID-19 pandemic where all summer fun has been cancelled, so now it's time to move on to cancelling Fall fun too.

I know that statement was a tad dramatic, but I can't help it, I'm sad and frustrated with our world right now. I understand and respect why the organizers of all these cancelled summer festivals had to make the unfortunate decisions they did, but it still sucks.

Now that I'm done crying, I need to admit one more thing. Before you judge me and my stupidity, please be aware I know I had an ultimate brain fart at play here. When I first saw this post from Green County Cheese Days Festival on Facebook, I was automatically confused. Why are they calling it a bad news/good news situation when in fact our cheese and beer fun will not be happening this year?!?

I seriously had to read it three times before I remembered that the Cheese Days Festival happens every other year, so in fact, there is some good news here. We will only have to wait one year, instead of two, to eat and drink a plethora of beer and cheese.

Thank goodness for silver linings...we all need a few hundred of them right now, or is that just me?
