Major Cereal Recall Alert, Cheerios Being Recalled

Check your cupboards, General Mills is recalling nearly 1.8 million boxes of Cheerios.

CBS NEWS reports that the recall includes regular Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios. The risk involves people who have wheat allergies and celiac disease are at risk.

Wheat contamination is the issue.

None of these boxes were manufactured at the Belvidere General Mills Plant

CBS news says that according to the company, the contamination occurred only at General Mills Lodi facility in July.
