Allergies - I HATE YOU.
I'm that person who is constantly sniffing, sneezing, blowing my nose, etc. basically year round. I have a ton of indoor AND outdoor allergies, but the time of year they're the worst is definitely spring. It's even more annoying this year because every allergy symptom I have in public people look at me all scared because they think it could be COVID-19...
If your allergies have blown up this spring and it feels like you prescriptions aren't helping, you're not alone. Illinois' allergy season is worse this year.
What is going on? It's only February and flu season isn't even done and the first allergy report alert of 2017 has been issued for Illinois and things are not looking good.
The Rockford area enjoyed a milder winter this year which was awesome, but local doctors say that is bad news for allergy sufferers. Thank goodness one local farmer has an alternative allergy treatment available that doesn't require a lot of pill popping.
The warmer weather we've seen in the Stateline this week sure has been nice, but it also means we get to say hello to our archenemy, Mr. Pollen even earlier this year.
The air at Christmas time is full of wonder, excitement and even allergies too.
If you've been feeling under the weather lately, better check to see if you're allergic to Christmas.
