The legal smoking age might be raised in Illinois and it won't be just for tobacco products. This, of course, is it the House votes in favor of the new bill like the Illinois Senate did. The age requirement could raise from 18 to 21.

According to ABC Chicago,

Sen. Julie Morrison is the sponsor of the plan. The Deerfield Democrat says the risk of smoking addiction is more likely the younger a smoker is.

It makes sense, especially with the popularity of e-cigs and vapors - which will be part of the new restrictions. In fact, all "nicotine-based products such as e-cigarettes or vaping materials" will be restricted to persons over 21. Not supporting this possible new law would require one heck of an argument.
