On Tuesday, April 4th, 32-year-old Joseph A. Jakubowski allegedly robbed a gun shop in Janesville, according to reports. The Janesville resident also sent a 161-page "well written" manifesto to the White House addressed to President Trump. Police say there were concerning threats made towards government officials, law enforcement, and religious communities. The Journal Sentinel confirms increased police presence throughout Janesville and surrounding communities.

Though some of the contents of the manifesto may have been "leaked" authorities say they have not released any details to the media or public.

Overnight, investigators believe that the media obtained a partial copy of the document Jakubowski mailed to President Trump. This excerpt was not provided by law enforcement. At this time, due to the ongoing investigation, law enforcement will not release Jakubowski’s document.

After a week of no results the F.B.I. increased a reward from $10,000 to $20,000 for information leading to the arrest of Joseph Jakubowski . Authorities have expressed the danger involved with the suspect and advise against approaching. Instead, call 911 or 1-800-CALLFBI  if you see him or having information regarding his location.

In a press release, F.B.I. shared images of Jakubowski's description noting he may have altered himself to avoid being caught. It's possible he shaved his head and facial hair, even having tattoos covered.

We provided a tattoo “BOY” (labeled “BOS”) photo from Jakubowski’s right upper arm. Investigators have since learned that Jakubowski covered this tattoo with a newer tattoo. Accordingly, the “BOY” tattoo photo is no longer applicable.
