Janesville Police are still searching for a dangerous suspect last seen near an elementary school drunk and carrying a gun. Here's what you need to know.

UPDATE: There is now cash reward reward leading to the arrest of the suspect.


 

Several sources, including WREX, are reporting on a man Janesville Police are searching for in connection with a gun store burglary. Joseph A. Jakubowski is said to be armed and dangerous. WREX reports an individual resembling Jakubowski was spotted near a Janesville elementary school early Thursday morning prompting a 'soft lockdown' leaving school officials to cancel school today.

Police say they received information Thursday morning that Jakubowski has been "highly agitated" about political issues and has made threats to steal weapons and use them against public officials or schools. (WREX)

Do not approach the suspect described as,

33-year-old white male, 5’10” tall with green eyes and brown hair.
