WI Woman Never Allowed Back In Store After Black Friday Incident
Black Friday shopping can get crazy but this Wisconsin woman took it to the next level by being banned from this store for life.
Black Friday Is Quite What It Used To Be For Shopping
Remember when Black Friday shopping was at its peak? It would get wild. Stores would open super early with one-day-only sales. Customers would go insane over these deals. There would be fights and all kinds of trouble before the sun even came up. Nowadays, bargains are available way before and after the holiday. There's no longer really a reason to go out and cause total mayhem.
Wisconsin Woman Causes Ruckus On Black Friday
Alyssa Peluso, 31, was banned for life from the Delavan Dollar Tree at 303 S. Wright St. after a Black Friday melee on Nov. 25 that allegedly left two employees with minor injuries.
City of Delavan Police Department officers were dispatched to Dollar Tree for a report of a female refusing to leave the store, along with a City of Delavan ambulance crew, according to a Delavan Police report.
The suspect came to the Dollar Tree store in Delavan, Wisconsin on Black Friday morning. She proceeded to steal five items and then take off. She returned that night right around closing time to try and return the "hot" merchandise for cash. Her score included oven mitts and hand towels. Each thing was $1.25 for a grand total of $6.25. That's why we call them dumb criminals.
The employees recognized her and refused to give the suspect a cash refund. The woman would not give the merchandise back, so the store staff tried getting her to leave. That lady then started to punch and throw plates at the workers. The manager attempted to remove the shoplifter and was shoved into shelves and knocked over a display.
The police were called and arrested the woman. She had illegal drugs on her. Plus, a couple of other criminal cases pending. Looks like this lady is going to be heading to jail for a while. By the way, she's also banned from the store for life.
