According to Fox 6 Milwaukee...
A suspect hijacked an ambulance while paramedics were treating a patient, fleeing the scene with the patient still inside the vehicle.
The ambulance wasn't empty when the suspect stole the emergency vehicle. There were two paramedics inside. Even worse, the paramedics were helping a patient who was in distress. They were all in the back of the ambulance, so they didn't see the thief jump in until it was too late. The paramedics tried to stop him, but they were unsuccessful.

The suspect took off in the stolen ambulance and started a police chase. It's a slow-moving vehicle, so it didn't get too far. The cops' pursuit of the hijacked emergency truck lasted 18 miles and 40 minutes. The police were eventually able to stop it with tire deflation devices. Lucky, no one was hurt, and the ambulance only had minor damage.
