We've had a pretty rough time on the roads in the last few days. The roads have been super slick with a thick coating of ice and then snowfall. The city talked yesterday about the salt shortage, and now within the last two days over 100 ice and snow related accidents have been reported according to rrstar.com.

Our roads have really turned into a massive slip and slide, and although some know how to traverse the ice and snow many do not. It's insane but the area police departments have been flooded with car accident calls since Tuesday afternoon. On a better note, tonight through tomorrow will have some rising temperatures so that should help.

Just remember if you are on the roads during these slushy and icy conditions please use caution and make sure you leave plenty of space between you and the car in front of you.
