Illinois Zoo Is Free Every Thursday This Summer Through October

These free Thursdays actually run through mid-October.

Scovill Zoo in Decatur, Illinois is making activities with your kids a little easier on the wallet. No admission charge on Thursdays all Sumer long and even into Fall, according to wandtv.com. Scovill Zoo has a petting zoo, a carousel and an express train that will take you on a 1-mile narrated tour tracking through a tunnel and along Lake Decatur to give you a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the animals.
