After analyzing data every day and over time, Illinois Department of Public Health Director Dr. Ngozi Ezike said who is the worst at spreading the deadly virus.

This new revelation may not be a big surprise to some. In the state of Illinois, the ones contracting the virus the most are not the ones dying from it, and that is probably why they are not changing their behavior.

Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) director, Dr. Ezike said Tuesday (11/17), that the largest number of coronavirus cases in the state are in the age group of 20 to 29 years old. As to why this groups transmission rate is so high, also may not come as surprise,

"They're living, they are gathering, you know, they're working, they're dining, everything that they're doing is an opportunity for spread", said Dr. Ezike. Settings where masking and/or social distancing is not being practiced as it should be. Private gatherings without masks or distancing, dining opportunities where people eat and drink without masks.

Thanksgiving is another big health mess. Despite the warnings, may will gather in large groups to celebrate the holidays, and likely celebrate without face coverings or any kid of social distancing. Remember, those that are dying the most from this virus, re likely to be at many, if not all, of these Thanksgiving Day gatherings. People b between the ages of 60-80 are at the highest risk.

This Thanksgiving, if you're gathering in numbers, please remember these things:

  • Limit guests
  • Try to separate people from different households at different tables
  • Tell guests ahead of time that masks are required so they are prepared
  • Try to hold gatherings outside and more
