Campbell’s Report Finds Illinois Is Torn Over Its Top Side Dish
Campbell's has just released its annual State of the Sides Report, where the iconic soup maker takes a deep dive into what we care about the most when it comes to our Thanksgiving dishes.

Stuffing Dominates Across Most of the U.S.
For example, Wisconsin and most of the U.S. chose Stuffing/Dressing as their favorite side dish. Makes sense, too, when you think about it. Traditionally, you cook it with the turkey, and many of us grew up eating it that way. Forty-four states picked Stuffing/Dressing as the #1 side.
Illinois’ Toss-Up Between Stuffing and Mashed Potatoes
In Illinois, we like stuffing, too, but I think we also like Mashed Potatoes. I say "think" because Campbell's doesn't specify exactly what the two sides tied for the top spot are in Illinois, so I'm doing my best to decipher the colors, and I believe it to be Mashed Potatoes.
Either way, it's a win, because it's not Green Bean Casserole. You can see Campbell's entire State of the Sides HERE.
