Visitors to Conservation World at the Illinois State Fair can stop by the Illinois State Parks: A Century of Fun tent to claim their free night of camping coupon that gives them an overnight stay with the purchase of at least one additional night.
Coupons are limited, with only 100 being distributed daily each day of the Illinois State Fair, according to the IDNR press release.
Rules and Restrictions for Campers
The free camping coupons are limited to one per camping trip and must be used by December 31, 2025, according to the IDNR press release.
Campers must be at least 18 years old, and the offer excludes utility fees at campsites. IDNR Director Natalie Phelps Finnie encourages residents to take advantage of the deal, especially during the fall season when the foliage begins to change colors.
Opportunity Extends to Du Quoin State Fair
Promotion for free camping will also run from August 22 to September 1 at the Du Quoin State Fair, where visitors can obtain vouchers at a special IDNR 100th anniversary interactive exhibit in the Expo Building.

These coupons can be redeemed at any IDNR campground, but must be presented in person when checking in, according to the press release.
Online reservations made through ExploreMoreIL.com will not accept the discount.
