Illinois Boudoir Photographer Creates Self Love Club To Empower Others

The internet is a powerful place to make a difference in your community and this Rockford photographer is doing something big online to make the world a better place.

I've always been pretty insecure about my body because growing up online I'd scroll past so many Instagram Models and Beauty Influencers who all have these incredibly flat stomachs, long torsos, and slim waists that I could only dream of having.

After finding Amy Kelley's Self Love Club on Facebook, my life took a turn for the better.

Amy is also known as 'Laced in Black' - a body positive boudoir photographer based out of Milton, WI servicing the greater Rockford area and surrounding big cities.

LIB has succeeded in helping hundreds of people along their own individual self love journeys through images, words of encouragement, and sharing of my own self love journey.

 

These are just few of hundreds of incredible photos Amy has taken.  Her work speaks volumes and gives her clients the body confidence and self worth they're searching for.

I didn't even know these types of photographers existed.  They create a safe space for singles, couples, and even best friends to explore their beautiful bodies through photos.

For people who need a reminder that they are courageous, bad ass + worthy of self love.

 

On top of Amy being this phenomenal photographer, she created a Facebook group called 'Self Love Club | Laced In Black Boudoir' on September 14, 2021.

In this club we focus on learning to love the hell out of ourselves while fostering a positive and uplifting community for others. We share all things body positivity, inclusivity, and self love, with a sprinkle of booties and lingerie.

 

Today, the Facebook group has over 1,400 group members!  I joined the group just to see what the hype was all about... and I fell in love with being surrounded by assertive and fearless women making this group so worth it.
