IceHogs Teddy Bear Toss is Saturday

The anticipation builds, every near goal gets your off your seat, just waiting for the red buzzer and goal horn to sound so you can celebrate the goal. It doesn't even matter which player scores because as soon as the biscuit is in the basket, that's when the fun starts.

No, I'm not talking about high-fiving strangers and chest bumping your friends, I'm talking about winding up and tossing a teddy bear onto the ice.

If you've never had the chance to go to a teddy bear toss hockey game, tomorrow night is your chance to cross it off the list. I've been to a few over the years for a couple different teams. One time, unfortunately, the team didn't even score so we ended up just tossing them once the game was over, but they are always a lot of fun. The kids love being a part of it and the adults are smiling just as big knowing they are helping those in need.
