Do you want to visit every spooky and terrifying haunted house that Illinois has to offer this October, but your wallet won't let it happen? What if I told you there is a way you can get PAID to visit all of them this year?

A Truly Spooktacular Job Opportunity

Have you ever noticed a sign at a haunted house or a post on its website that says "Illinois #1 Haunted House",  or something along those lines, and wondered, who makes that decision? Well, it turns out YOU could be a part of those decisions as an official Haunted Illinois Reviewer!

Illinois' Haunted House Season Is Officially Here

Now that most of Illinois' haunted houses have officially opened for the 2022 season, or will be this weekend, it's time to determine which ones are the best. Haunted Illinois is always a great resource if you are really on the hunt for something terrifying in our fine state. The website contains every spooky thing you would ever need in Illinois; from haunted house locations and Halloween events to real-life haunted stories, hauntedillinois.com is THE place to go.

The one thing I didn't think you could get from Haunted Illinois was a job, but it turns out I was wrong.

Becomes a Haunted Illinois Reviewer

According to Haunted Illinois' job application;

Every October, our dedicated team of reviewers visits haunted attractions throughout the state of Illinois, writing reviews of what they experience.  We are in search of a select few people to add to our elite review team, to cover more ground and provide the general public with even more quality review.

While it doesn't say if all the reviewer positions have been filled for the 2022 season, you should probably know that as a reviewer,  you will be responsible for your own travel expenses (gas, lodging, food, etc.) during your haunted house tours.

For information on the gig, or just to find a terror weekend planner, check out hauntedillinois.com.

Need even more scary in your life? Check these out...if you dare.
