Heres a chance to get out with the family, before it get's too cold, to enjoy Chicago's Brookfield Zoo.

There are hundreds of reasons why a trip to Brookfield Zoo is a great idea. Even better when you can get in for free. And, I'm confident that every distance-learning teacher would offer some kind of extra credit if your child shared what they learned while they were there.

Brookfield Zoo just announced some free admission days between now and the end of the year.

Every Tuesday and Thursday in October and November, Brookfield zoo is offering free admission. Only the outdoor animal exhibits will be open to guests. You will still have to pay for parking and that cost is $15 per car.

You have to reserve your free tickets in advance, you can do that by clicking HERE. When reserving your admission passes, you'll also need to reserve a parking space in advance.

Reservations are available in 20-minute increments from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

If you miss out on the free days in October and November, Brookfield Zoo will be offering free days in December as well. Those will be Mondays and Tuesdays.
