
Four Illinois Teenagers Arrested After Shooting Incident in Rockford
Four teenagers have been charged after a shots fired incident on the North End of the city on Wednesday evening (3/26).
Gunfire Strikes Residences on Price Street
According to a press release from the Rockford Police Department, officers arrived on the scene of a shooting incident in the 1700 block of Price Street just after 6 pm on Wednesday.

Once RPD was on-scene, they discovered two residences on Price Street had been struck by bullets. Witnesses in the area told Rockford Police that they saw individuals leaving the area in a vehicle right after the shooting.
Suspect Vehicle Crashes, Occupants Detained
Hours after the reported shooting on Price Street, Rockford PD's Specialized Community Oriented Police Enforcement (SCOPE) officers found a possible suspect vehicle that was located in the 300 block of S. Winnebago Street.

According to the press release, the vehicle had crashed into a fence, and all occupants attempted to flee the scene on foot but were quickly detained by Rockford PD officers.
During the investigation of the crash scene, a rifle was recovered, according to the RPD.
Charges Filed Against Four Teenage Suspects
After reviewing the details of the case, the Winnebago County State's Attorney's Office approved the following charges against the teenagers:
Jose Rosado, 18, Rockford:
- Possession of a Firearm Without a FOID Card
- 2 Counts of Aggravated Fleeing
- Aggravated Unlawful Posession of a Weapon
- Leaving the Scene of an Accident
- Various Traffic Offenses
Two Juvenile Males, both 17, from Rockford:
- Possession of a Firearm Without a FOID Card
- Aggravated Unlawful Possession of a Firearm
- Unlawful Possession of a Firearm
- Resisting Arrest
Juvenile Male, 15, Rockford:
- Possession of a Firearm Without a FOID Card
- Aggravated Unlawful Possession of a Firearm
- Unlawful Possession of a Firearm
- Resisting Arrest
Investigation Continues
Rockford Police noted that additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues, and all of the individuals are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
