February 4th Is World Cancer Day

I have never met a person on this Earth who's life has not been affected by cancer. We all hate it, want to beat it, and it was on this day back in 1962 that the World took a great big step to making that happen thanks to a man named Danny Thomas.

Everyone here at Q98.5 loves to help St. Jude. It runs in our station's blood. We've been there, we receive daily inspiration from all the little fighters there, and it's one of the biggest things we do here that we feel truly matters.

Please go ahead and mark March 3 and 4, 2016 on your calendars now for the annual Q98.5 St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Radiothon. The event will once again be held at Peak Sports Club on Perryville in Loves Park, and you will want to be a part of it.
