Facebook’s New Dating Service Won’t Match Users With Friends

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the latest on Facebook's new dating feature will soon be a thing and will likely crush sites like Match.com and apps like Tinder (my words, not his). But, unlike other dating sites your friends won't know you're singlin' and minglin', according to Wired,

Your existing Facebook friends won't appear as potential matches.

If there's someone of interest on your friends' list you might want to delete them now and hope they don't catch on.

Facebook will use it' ever-changing algorithms to match you with single people of similar interests and etc. and let you message your potential future signif through a dedicated messenger. Users will not be able to send photos or links, and their last name will be hidden. Keep calm and chat on.

No launch date has been announced, specifically, other than "soon."
