It's October. That means it's time for all things scary. If you enjoy anything to do with ghosts, like ghost stories and ghost hunts then you don't want this on Saturday.

The Stephenson County Historical Society, is having an evening of scary fun hosting "Spirit Voices: the Ghosts of Freeport’s Taylor Mansion" from 5 to 9 p.m.  this Saturday, October, 3rd.

The Ogle County Times reports that spooky night will include "food, scary campfire stories and ghost-hunting tours of the Taylor Mansion lead by a local paranormal group." The ghost hunting tours are open for those ages 12 and up. However, all are invited to come and enjoy the many other activities that evening.

By the way, this is most important to know, tickets are required for this event. The costs are as follows: for ages 12 and up with the ghost tour included are $10. Under 12, or any age without ghost tour, $5.

Woooo... Sounds like a scary fun time. I'm not one for ghosts and haunted houses but the campfire stories are right up my alley.
