Emergency Cooking and Baking Substitutes

The first rule when making any recipe is to make sure you have all your ingredients before you start.

I'm usually pretty good at knowing what I have in my cabinets. Although, Sunday I got caught. I thought for sure I had tomato soup for the Unstuffed Pepper Soup, only to find out I didn't.

Then I found a quick emergency substitute in making it out of tomato sauce.

Whew! Thanks to Premeditated Leftovers I made tomato soup and was able to finished my awesomely tasty soup.
