Enjoy A Magical Night Of Lights & Frights At Khlem Arboretum’s New Halloween Event

Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden in Rockford, Illinois is giving us a new reason to visit this fall called "Eerie Autumn Lights".

Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden is a true gem in the Rockford community. It is a beautiful place to take your family to explore and play in nature, and the grounds are especially gorgeous during the fall.

Each October the Stateline area comes alive with frightfully fun events, from haunted houses to massive trunk-or-treats, there is always some Halloween fun to be had in the Rockford area. Now Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden is jumping into the fun too with a new event called "Eerie Autumn Lights".

My experiences in the gardens at Klehm have always taken place during the day, so I'm super excited to see what it will look like all lit up with spooky colored lights at night.

This event is way more than just lights hung all over the gardens, here are a few of the other things you will see (at night) during Klehm's Eerie Autumn Lights...

Isn't that pumpkin incredible?!? My family grew pumpkins for the first time this year, and I thought our bounty was impressive...

But now I want to know how to grow a pumpkin that huge!

Here's one more fun fact about that massive pumpkin at Klehm, on October 17, 18, and 19th Lincoln Bias, (a master pumpkin carver from Rockford who's been featured on Food Network's 'Outrageous Pumpkins') will be at Klehm to carve it, and we can all watch him do it!

Back to business now...

Eerie Autumn Lights at Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Gardens begins tonight, (October 3), at 5 p.m. and will be open Wednesday through Sunday nights through October 31. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for kids 12 and under and can ONLY be purchased online at khlem.org. (Again, you will NOT be able to buy tickets at the door!)
