Christmas Assistance Applications Accepted Through Friday In Rockford

This time of the year is two-fold as many families will be shopping for gifts while others are hoping to have something to give their children this year. If you know of a family that is in need of assistance this Christmas encourage them to apply for help from Salvation Army. Applications are being accepted through Friday, November 17, 2017.

• Where to go: Salvation Army Tabernacle (210 N. Kilburn).
• When: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (9AM-3PM) / Wednesday 9AM-6PM.
• Application Requirements: Photo i.d. for head of household, proof of address for each member of household (including children) dated within 30 days, proof of birth date.

Interested in donating a new toy to a child in the surrounding area? Drop off a new unwrapped to the 12 Hours of Salvation Army Toy Drive December 1st at Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall on Cherryvale N. Boulevard.
