Our hearts may still be a little broken over the Chicago Cubs season being over, but perhaps this news will put a little spirit back in your day: Chicago's Christkindlmarket is headed to Wrigleyville this year.

The Park at Wrigley will now be home to Christkindlmarket vendors and and an 8,000 square foot skating rink from November 24, 2017 with the skating rink staying open until February 25, 2018 if Mother Nature cooperates.

According to the Chicago Tribune;

The holiday market will have some of the same vendors as the markets in Daley Plaza and Naperville — and visitors will be able to buy the signature mugs — but The Park at Wrigley also wanted to highlight local vendors, said Kate Bleeker, senior manager of organizer German American Events.

Vendors including Taylor Street Soap Co., Candyality and Decadent Flavor are based in the Chicago area and will sell only at The Park at Wrigley market.

The Tribune also says that The Park at Wrigley will  be hosting several fun holiday events like a tree lighting ceremony, wreath-making classes, outdoor movies and pictures with Santa. Stay up to date on all Christkindlmarket events and news here.
