Getaway Cars Leave Behind Robbery Suspect in Chicago and It’s All on Video
If you're planning to pull off a heist, you should coordinate with the getaway driver.
Video Shows Chaos Outside GameStop
A video posted to the Well That Sucks subreddit shows what appears to be a robbery in Chicago, and it's about as sloppy as it could get. The chaotic 35-second clip features the suspects scrambling out of a Gamestop while trying to get into two different getaway cars, both of which end up fleeing the scene, albeit while leaving one of their crew behind.

You read that right. Both cars peeled out, and one dude got left to figure it out himself, all while dressed in black and some very red shorts that Reddit commenters said gave off some serious Mickey Mouse vibes.
Suspect Caught After Attempting Solo Escape
If you watched the entire video, Mr. Red Shorts was apprehended soon after deciding to make a run for it on his own, which you can see clearly in the video as he raises his hands in the air, signaling, "I give up."
No Confirmation Yet on What Was Actually Stolen
There hasn't been any indication or word that the other suspects got away or which GameStop location was robbed, but Reddit had an absolute laugh putting these criminals on blast.
Is It the Driver’s Fault, or Just a Miscount?
We're also not sure who gets the blame here. Is it the getaway driver or the rest of the crew, or did they incorrectly count how many thieves were along for the ride? It could also be that the rest of the suspects were deliberately ditching the now-arrested Mr. Red Shorts, but that would be a stretch.
We've all heard of organized crime before; this has to be considered dis-organized crime.
