If you enjoy cats and like coffee too, put them together and you get a Cat Cafe.

That's what a Chicago Animal Shelter is building in West Rogers Park.

That's right you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea all the while petting, playing with or watching shelter cats play at the soon to be Catfe'.

According to Timeout and DNAinfo, the $7 million building for the Tree House Humane Society is expected to break ground next month. The cat cafe will double as the facility's waiting area, allowing visitors to socialize with cats while offering coffee and tea. Tree House's new home will also include a public veterinary clinic, adoption rooms, a pet food pantry and a shelter with room for 150 cats.

They're $2 million short of their goal of $7 million, but are confident through generous donations they will make up the difference.

How fun. I'd go here. I love animals, especially cats.

I think Rockford needs one of these. Don't you think so?
