You guys, I have an extreme soft spot for anything that has to do with animals.

I see a story about an abused or neglected animal pop up on my social media timeline, my eyes automatically tear up.

I have a stronger feeling of love at first sight for puppies than I do for newborn babies. (Totally sad, but totally true).

I see an animal in trouble, I immediately want to help them.

This cat named Charlie may not be in trouble necessarily, but he's been waiting for his forever home at Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary in Rockford for a year now, and that is just as sad.

Noah's Ark posted this video of Charlie in action and said;

Charlie has been aboard the Ark for an entire year and we are so sad for her. She often gets overlooked because she just chills in her bed all day. She can be a little moody but she has a lot of love to give. Charlie would make the purrfect companion. Please come meet her. While she is very loved here, this sweet girl deserves a home.

If Charlie could get along with the cat we already have at home, I would adopt this cuddly guy in a second. Sadly, he won't, I can't, and I'm hoping you will.

Good luck, Charlie. I hope tonight finds you dreaming in a new forever home, instead of dreaming about one.
